Pancha Rathas - There are five monolithic rock-cut temples shaped like chariots, each carved from a single rock which are dedicated to pandavas. They never came here; it is only their depiction. Then proceed further to see other architectural marvel of the Pallava Dynasty in Mahabalipuram Oldest lighthouse of India is located in Mahabalipuram, just under the light house, we visited Mahishasura Mardini cave & Anantasayana perumal. It is all made out of one monolithic rock. It is located right on top of Mahishahshur mardini cave temple Krishna’s Butterball: A giant natural rock balanced on a slope, which looks like it's about to roll down but never does. After this we went for Lunch and explored couple of more carvings. All these places that we visited are within 3 km radius only.
