Future-Proof Your Implantology – Transition to Digitally Guided Dr. Minas Leventis, DDS, MSc, PhD Abstract: Digital planning and fully-guided surgery is nowadays the state-of-the-art in implant dentistry. Using the patient’s CBCT and digital impressions we can create a digital workflow and plan the ideal positioning of the implant, while a fully guided approach using surgical guides allows the precise 3-dimensional placement of the implant in the planned location. In this webinar, Dr Leventis will share his experience and describe the important benefits offered to him by the transition from free-hand to fully-guided in his everyday practice. Through the presentation of clinical cases, Dr Leventis will demonstrate how the digital assessment of implant cases gives clinicians the ability to virtually visualize pre-operatively the surgical field, identify the underlying anatomy and predict in detail possible bone defects around the digitally positioned implants. Moreover, it will be highlighted how we can visualize the final restoration and even pre-fabricate temporary restorations for immediate loading.
