SHQIP&ENGLISH: Dëshmori i Atdheut,NDOC MARK DEDA-GEGA(1880-1915).Trimi legjendar i Berishës, Pukës e kombit shqiptar.Guximi i të cilit u duk sidomos kur ushtria e madhe osmane e Shefqet Turgut Pashës kërkoi çarmatosjen e malësorëve.Ndoci me vëllezërit Mëhillin Mark Deda (Dëshmor i Atdheut,);Gjergji Mark Deda(Qytetar Nderi Iballë) dhe babai Mark Deda(Dëshmor i Atdheut) luftëtar kundër reformave të tanzimatit,në mbrojtje të autonomis së malësisë,pjesëmarrës në mbrojtjen e Plavës e Gucisë,lidhjes shqiptare të Prizrenit e mbështetës i kryengritjeve të vitit 1908;1909;1910,vendosën që të mos i dorëzonin armët.Gjë e cila alarmoi forcat e xhandarmërisë Pukë e Iballë, sa autoritetet osmane të vilajetit të Shkodrës i kërkuan ndihmë oborrit perandorak të Sulltanit.Zaptie e rrethuan Kullen e tij me 5 dhjetor 1910,ata rezistuan me armë, sa shkaktuan të plagosur të shumte e të vrarë në radhët e armikut, mes tyre u var dhe Çaushi.Ndoci, çau rrethimin dhe bashkë me vëllëzerit i zmbapsen zaptit duke i ndjekur në rreth 2km.Në këtë betej baba Marku ra Deshmorë dhe Ndoci me vëllezërit u plagosen të cilet me mbështetjen e çetës të ardhur në ndihem u strehuan në vendin "Te then Drini Qafën" dhe me nderime u bë varrimi i të atit.Gjatë dimrit, të ndihmuar prej vendasve, arritën të mjekoheshin e të ushqeheshin derisa u shëruan e u kthyen në Berishë. Ndoci, duke parë situatën kryengritëse në Pukë,Mirditë,Malësi e Madhe, Shkodër,etj, vendosi të dalë në aksione luftarake jashtë Pukës.Kështu,në prillit 1911 me vëllezërit përcollën për në Mirditë Terenc Toçin sëbashku me bajraktarin e Berishës e Bugjonit,sikurse do ta gjejmë edhe në kryengritjen e Lezhës më 1911.E njohur është edhe ndihma vendimtare që i dha Midhës në betejën kundër forcave osmane, korrik 1912.Roli i tij luftarak qe i rëndësishëm në sulmin për çlirimin e Pukës,qershor-shtator 1912 dhe në shoqerimin e Isa Boletinit në Vlore në shpalljen e pavarësisë së vendit në 1912,si edhe në luftën e Shkodrës më 1912-"13 kundër pushtuesve serbo-malazezë.Ndoci me çetën e tij e forca të Dukagjinit i sulmoi disa herë deri në Vrakë,siç do të luftonte në prill 1915 kundër forcave malazeze gjatë përpjekjeve për pushtimin e Dukagjinit, ku ra dëshmor Mëhilli, vëllai i Ndocit dhe ai vet mori plagë të rënda,prej të cilave vdiq në korrik 1915. Ndoci broke through the siege and together with his brothers ran away from the army,following them for about 2km.In this battle, Marku's father fell, martyr and Ndoci were wounded, and with the support of the four that came to help, they took shelter in the place "Te Then Drini Qafën" and the father's burial was held with honors.During the winter, with the help of the locals, they managed to get medical treatment and food until they recovered and returned to Berishe.But Ndoc, seeing the insurgency situation in Puka,Mirditë,Malësi e Madhe,Shkodër,etc,decided to go out in combat operations outside Puka.So,at the April 1911 with his brothers escorts Terenc Toçi to Mirdita toghether with Berisha's and Bugjoni headman.Ndoc and his brigade we can find it even in Lezha's uprising occured in 1911.It is also kown, the decisive help he gave to Midha in a battle fight against Ottoman forces,July 1912 and in the accompanying Isa Boletini in Vlora, the country's independence was proclaimed in 1912.Also, his combat role was so important in the attack for the liberation of Puka,during June-Septemer 1912.Ndoci with his brigade we will see even in the war of Shkodra in 1912-'13 against Serbo-Montenegrin invaders.Ndoci with his brigade and trups of Dukagjin attacked them several times until Vraka,who fought against surrounded Shkodra, as he would fight in April 1915 against Montenegrin forces during the effort for the invasion of Dukagjini,where it was martyred Mëhill, the brother of Ndoc and where he himself took severe wounds,causing him the death on July 1915.
