FOR MORE OF OUR LANDSCAPING AND PLANT CONTENT CHECK OUT:    • Our tropical plant collections and landscapes   For the past 2 years we have lovingly called a degraded farm and forest patch in the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary our home, and home to our conservation and restoration project. Over those two years we began the restoration process on over 20 hectares of land, as well as "wildscaping" around 5 hectares of the entrance and plantation areas to provide a rich and beautiful landscape of the most amazing, rare and beautiful tropical plants. Unfortunately the landowners priorities have changed, which means that we will be moving to a new project site, this time with a long term, intergenerational future. Whilst all of the native species that we have planted and all the forest we have begun restoring will remain, we will be taking with us all of our ornamental plant collection, which is partly potted but mostly planted directly in the ground. Join us in this video as we take you on a tour of our main entrance, before we take out all the plants and bring them to our future project site. You will see how in two years an uncared for plot can be transformed into a lush tropical forest landscape, with giant Monstera, Anthurium and many other tropical plants that are often considered as houseplants. This will be the first of many videos, not only showing you our gardens and wildscaping, but also our forest restoration, conservation research, community engagement and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation work.
