In this series of videos we revisit Ocean Drive- the coastal highway between Atlantic City, NJ and Cape May, NJ. In the late 1930's, Cape May County erected several bridges and roads connecting the barrier islands along the Atlantic Ocean between Cape May, NJ and Atlantic City, NJ. This route would be named: Ocean Drive. This scenic route was intended to promote tourism in the area and encourage economic development. Unfortunately, Ocean Drive is no longer promoted by Cape May County as a scenic route and is not well known. We've re-filmed the entire route and stopped at most of the bridges to document them. Many are 80+ years old and likely to be torn down within the coming years. We love our bridges here, folks!
