Here's how to make it: This advent calendar requires a left over beer carton or large box, scissors or a stanley knife, tape, wrapping paper, 6 pack cartons, decorations and beer!! 1. Using tape, tape down the open end of the box. 2. Using scissors or a stanley knife, cut the 3 sides on the side of the box to create a hinged lid. 3. Choose your paper to wrap the box. 4. Unwrap the paper and place the box on top. 5. Using the box measure the amount of paper you will need to wrap the box. 6. Stick the paper to the inside of the lid and the inside of the front of the box with tape. 7. Continue wrapping the lid of the box. To do this you will need to cut the paper in line with the hinge of the lid. 8. Continue to wrap the lid as you would a present. Repeat on the other side. 9. Finish wrapping the sides of the box, as you would a present. 10. Moving on you will need 4 six back beer holders. Place these into the box. If you don’t have any 6 pack holders it’s ok to skip this step. Each drink will have it’s own slot in the box. 11. Collect an assortment of drinks you wish to consume over the course of the lead up to Christmas. These can be alcoholic or non-alcoholic. 12. Place them randomly into the slots of the box, continue until all 24 slots are full. 13. Feel free to decorate the box any way you like, with ribbons, string, tinsel, stickers or glitter. Make it your own. 14. Don’t forget to number the tops of the drinks from 1 to 24. This is an advent calendar after all!
