Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Engineering Lesson Series - Lesson 15D: Grade Efficiency for Particle Removal In this 7.5-minute video, Professor Cimbala defines grade efficiency which is the removal efficiency as a function of particle diameter. Grade efficiency is used to indicate the removal efficiency of air cleaners, filters, etc., which varies with particle diameter. He also works out an example problem where iteration is required to calculate particle diameter.
