Finally made it to Cuenca! This colonial city in the southern part of the country definitely deserves at least 3 full days, but we had to cram it in 2 and a half. I would definitely go back and highly recommend adding to your itinerary. We arrived tot he bus station which is close to the airport in the early AM. I barely slept on the bus cause of all the stops it made all night and the lights going on and off every time hence the nap I took later that morning Juan Valdez Cafe. The day was spent exploring as much as possible on foot like the Parque Calderon, new Cathedral, the Chocolateria and other spots!
