Slugging is the latest viral skincare craze to hit Tik Tok but what does smearing Vaseline on your skin do for your routine. Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin. Today we are talking Slugging which is the latest viral skincare trend to hit the world and one I have a lot to say about. Coming out of Korea Slugging is where you complete your skincare routine and after moisturizing you apply a thick layer of Vaseline or other petroleum jelly over the top of your whole face to 'seal it in'. The resulting look is a greasy slimy one which looks like a slug has slid across your whole face hence the name. I will be discussing the impact of Vaseline for acne, using Vaseline on the face and of course the pros and cons of slugging.
