We unbox, set-up and review the second-generation Bishop B-Charged wireless battery pack and talk you through its features. The Bishop B-Charged V2 is a wireless battery pack that can power most pen-style tattoo machines with an RCA connector and offers 12+ hours of battery life from just a 1.5 hour charge. You can adjust the voltage of the Bishop B-Charged V2 from 4-12 Volts in 0.1 V steps, with the voltage displayed on the OLED glass display at the top of the battery pack. Weighing just 53.9 grams means that the B-Charged V2 won't weigh down your tattoo pen machine when in use, especially if using a Bishop Wand for perfect integration. --- The Bishop B-Charged V2 can be ordered from Killer Ink Tattoo here: https://www.killerinktattoo.co.uk/cat... --- Make sure to check out Killer Ink Tattoo's website and social media channels below! From the creators of the popular pen-style Wand, the B-Charged battery pack from Bishop will allow you to run your machine wirelessly, cutting out the need for cables or power supplies. So, let’s take a closer look… Inside the box is a slick features insert with helpful tips, how-tos, and information about the battery pack’s warranty. You’ll also find the B-Charged unit itself and a USB-C cable to charge it. The first thing you’ll notice about the Bishop B-Charged is how light it is. Weighing a total of 53.9 grams, it’s firmly at the lighter end of wireless battery packs, largely due to the custom CNC aluminium body. The B-Charged fits neatly onto the top of pen-style tattoo machines via its RCA connection, eliminating the need for cables. If using a Bishop Wand, you’ll find that the B-Charged offers perfect integration for a streamlined look. On one side of the B-Charged, you’ll find the RCA connector, while the other end has an OLED glass display, where you can see the power level of the lithium-ion batteries via the battery indicator, as well as the current voltage. When the battery is connected to a machine and in use, it will show a pedal icon, like so. This battery pack offers an automatic jump start feature which delivers a fast jolt to kickstart those power-hungry rotary machines and stiff cartridge membranes. The screen will indicate if the automatic jump start has kicked in by showing a small lightning bolt symbol. Jump start your machine by turning the battery pack off, then double clicking the power button. It will start automatically at 9 Volts for two seconds before adjusting to your settings. On either side of the OLED display, these plus and minus buttons allow for easy voltage adjustments on the fly in 0.1 Volt increments between 4 and 12 Volts. The power button sits on the side here and is easily accessible while working, with the added benefit of preventing the machine from rolling when placed down on your workstation. The wireless battery pack is easily charged through its USB-C port and needs only an hour and a half of charge to keep you going for over twelve hours of tattooing. In terms of hygiene, having a sleek cylindrical design means that the B-Charged fits neatly inside barrier grip, clip cord and power supply sleeves, or you can simply wrap it up in barrier film. The buttons are low-profile enough that they’re usable through protection and easy enough to find by touch – just make sure to use a clear wrap so you can see the OLED display. Made in the USA, the second-generation Bishop B-Charged battery pack is available to order from Killer Ink via the link in the description below.
