We are a country club gated community of 447 units, primarily single-family homes, we are a different demographic than our area clubs in the sense that we are a much younger demographic. We have growing families within our community and that makes up about a little bit more than half of our demographic within the community. It’s the type of atmosphere where families bring their children while their children are operating their power wheels down the street or down the sidewalk to come onto any of the areas within the community. You know in the past, we utilized more traditional methods of speed enforcement such as a radar or a laser unit if you will to enforce that – [it] became very cumbersome, there’s a lot of different moving components that an individual needs to know and be trained on to be able to operate those and in the state of Florida there’s a requirement for licensing and training as well. There were multiple reasons that we wanted to go with the Traffic Logix Guardian system, that being one of them. We found that the automation is really wonderful as it relates to the connectivity through the Cloud because the citations are automatically sent over to us to be able to process, and I mean literally just about cut the time in half. We’ve installed them in numerous locations - we have 7 neighborhoods of 7 streets that will branch off our main thoroughfare and depending on the history of the speeding that has taken place in these areas, we chose an order of preference to place them near or at the current speed limit signs. So far, we would say they’ve definitely been effective. We have had individuals where when they were detected speeding and received a notification, which in our particular community the very first one results in a warning. We have not seen repeat offences take place. We did notify the community beforehand that we would be deploying this system, we were very detailed in explaining to the community members what the systems capabilities are, so they understood what technology was being deployed through the community. So, they were very clear when they received the notifications what everything was about. You know, in previous properties that I have managed, this type or similar technology, usually comes with some sort of angst from community members who say they do not want to be monitored for speeding or usually have some sort of negative connotation for it. In this particular case it did not happen here. It actually has been a welcome change, especially for those that have children and the overwhelming families that we have here. It’s been a positive addition to the community. Really the fact that its able to deliver the citation notices automatically via email, through the cloud, is really our absolute favorite feature. The fact that you can review them, edit them, you can see some of the motion that takes place in the vehicles, you have a combination of video and still pictures, I mean all of it is just really phenomenal.
