Their stunning repertoire stretches from Georgian, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Serbian, Bosnian to Turkish folk songs from the Black Sea. Their arrangements can be traditional or more experimental, carefully picked for the mood of each song. From weddings and celebrations to the streets or concert venues, the three voices fill and transform the space, creating special moments and bringing people together with smiles and tears. It is a winter evening when I accompanied the three Ladies of Tralalka in the streets of Berlin.They walk endlessly, intertwined to one on another, stop, check and sometimes get inside one of the bars of the district. Inside, nobody awaits them. And no one sees them until each of their three vocal cords begin to resonate. But then, people stop drinking and eating, look up and smile in front of so much energy. They are happy. The 3 Ladies also. As for me, I spent a wonderful evening !
