Jolly Rogers Pirate Cancun Experience This video will show the experience For those who plan to attend, things to be aware of: Time: Check in time is 5:45pm. We departed at 7:30pm and came back 11pm. Suppose to be 6:30-10pm.😔 Transportation: Traffic was bad! Took us an hour for 7 miles! 😔 We were told that taxi would cost $15-20 for group of 5. And bus would be $1/persons. But bus was super long line. We found taxi for $26+tips for 5 passengers. Taxi drivers were quoting us $40 for the ride back! 😵‍💫 We kept walking and found taxi for $25+tips after. Docking fee: When you arrive, you will need to pay an extra $14/person for docking fee before you get your wristbands. Cost: $100 for adults, $60 for anyone age 11 and under. We got our 4 of our tickets for sitting through a time share 😵‍💫😂. (Not recommend) 23:17 time on video to see food: Dinner: is included with ticket. You have to decide what you want to eat when you get your wristband. Dinner is serve at 9pm or after. (We thought it would be ~6:30pm). Food flavor was there but it was cold so didn’t taste good. It was very crowded and felt very chaotic overall but worst where food was served. 7:14 timestamp is Snack: They we’re selling very small bag of popcorn for $3/each at beginning of show. Show language: Each actor will speak Spanish one sentence and then in English right after. Tips: You will have a personal pirate who will help a group of people. They announced that your pirate will come by for tip. At the end he will come to you with a bag and say “Can you help me and give me some tips”. We planned to tip anyways but this seem a little awkward. They do work really hard and were super friendly. Another pirate will hold a treasure chest upon exit for more tips for the rest of crew. Survey: The personal pirate will also give you a survey form to fill out and to give feedback to him. It’s difficult to be honest when you know they will see all your response. Souvenirs: they will take photos of everyone on the way in with pirates. They will also sell t-shirts/etc. They offer face painting for kids. The entire crew was super friendly and were working really hard to entertain everyone. You can tell they are low staff because our personal pirate was constantly busy (And we are low maintenance and didn’t request for much. Can’t imagine if we needed more) Overall it was a good experience because the crew was very friendly. They work so hard. Wish the food experience was better and wished they were on time with depart and arrival. Music was good and fun. Will probably not go on another one of these pirate ship for us.
