NOTE: In my excitement in using this razor for the first time (and wanting to get the review posted ASAP), I missed a feature. The razor head is asymmetrical. One side of the razor head is a straight bar while the other side is a sculpted comb. And, it does make for a nice contrast in approaching the shave.:) I had been using the Crusader Adjustable Safety Razor (also with an asymmetrical razor head) all week prior to receiving the Emperor.
