Lawyers in Delhi went on to observe a one day strike on September 25 over the firing incident in Rohini Court. They abstained from working and therefore the legal work was affected in the courts. The lawyers demanded security and an atmosphere of safety in the court premises. The firing incident left 3 dead including wanted gangster Jitendra alias Gogi. Delhi Police shot dead the two gunmen, posed as lawyers who killed the gangster. A woman lawyer also suffered injuries.
