Ingredients Pear – 1 medium (approx. 200g, peeled and cored) Honey – 30g Lemon juice – 15ml Black tea leaves – contents of 2 tea bags (approx. 2–3g total) Cake flour – 200g Baking powder – 4g (about 1 tsp) Milk – 50ml Sugar – 60g Unsalted butter – 50g (softened) Egg – 1 medium (approx. 50g without shell) Instructions Prepare the Pear: Peel, core, and dice the pear (you should have ~200g after prepping). Mix with lemon juice (15ml), then add honey (30g) and stir. Set aside. Make the Butter Mixture: Cream softened butter (50g) until smooth. Add sugar (60g) and beat until fluffy. Gradually add the beaten egg (50g), mixing well. Add milk (50ml) and mix until smooth. Mix the Batter: Add black tea leaves (2–3g) to the batter. Sift in cake flour (200g) and baking powder (4g). Fold gently until just combined. Stir in the pear mixture. Bake: Pour into a lined/greased cake mold. Bake at 180°C for 35–40 minutes. Cool before serving.
