I think we're going to see more quads moving toward this style with the protective canopy and more centralized center of gravity. This is the first frame of this kind that I've seen in person. There are a few other frames similar to this one and I'm willing to be that there will be more that come along like it. This quad has a large amount of space between the lower plates that allow it to house the flight board and ESCs. The receiver and video transmitter can be mounted on the top plate. This allows for nearly the entire center portion to be occupied by a battery.
