Spiritual Hunger By Rev Fisayo Adeniyi

He explained that true spiritual hunger draws a believer closer to God and is a clear sign of life in the spirit. When hunger fades, it often leads to spiritual dullness, compromise, and loss of sensitivity to divine things. Rev. Fisayo highlighted signs of spiritual anorexia, such as tolerance for sin, lack of appetite for God’s Word, coldness toward truth, spiritual laziness, and reduced passion for Christ. He emphasized that hunger can also be stirred through desperation, desire, and a genuine cry for more of God. The message called believers to intentionally stir up their hunger by seeking fresh encounters, surrendering fully to God, staying around people who are on fire for Him, listening to testimonies of God’s works, and engaging deeply with Scripture.
