In 2016, St Patrick's Mental Health Services celebrated 270 years in existence. We were founded by Jonathan Swift - Dean of St Patrick’s Cathedral, noted satirist and patriot - who, upon his death in 1745, left £12,000 in his will to ‘build a house for fools and mad’. This film charts our history and progress over the centuries.
