NEET dress code for female 2021 Female candidates must also wear a mask and gloves as per COVID 19 safety guidelines set by the authority. Female candidates are advised not to wear clothes that have elaborate embroidery, flowers, brooches, or buttons as this is prohibited in the NEET dress code for female 2021 specified by NTA. No clothes with full arm length sleeves should be worn on the day of examination. Following the dress code of NEET 2021, female candidates should wear half sleeve clothes. Jeans with big pockets and fashionable will generally not be allowed for females as per the NTA NEET dress code. So, female aspirants, are advised to avoid wearing jeans on NEET 2021 exam day. It is best to avoid high heels and thick sole shoes and instead opt for sandals or slippers. Low heel footwear is also allowed. Female candidates must avoid wearing any kind of jewelry like earrings, nose rings, rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelet or anklets. Metal detectors may cause an unnecessary hassle if the metal is found on the person. Customary Dress Candidates who follow a certain religion that prescribes a customary dress can appear for NEET 2021 in their customary dress. As per the Delhi High Court order, Sikh candidates will be allowed to carry traditional kangha, kara, Kirpan with them. Female candidates are also allowed to wear burkha. These items will be considered by the authorities as to the customary dress. At the time of filling NEET application form 2021, candidates will be asked whether they wish to wear the customary dress which contradicts NEET 2021 dress code, an image for reference is provided below. Here, they must indicate that they wish to wear a customary dress. However, to help the exam conducting authority conduct the security checks smoothly, the candidate must report at least an hour before (12:30 PM) the reporting time. It is advisable for candidates to follow the dress code of NEET carefully to avoid 'unfair means' or misconduct charges against them.
