http://www.colliflower-zci.com/ is an exciting, all-new product from Colliflower, LLC. There are so many unique and useful features, so we'll cover one aspect at a time: THE FENCE --Sliding Fence. All ball-bearing action. Super smooth and straight. Clamp and pull parts through the bit. --Dovetail-meets-dovetail fence lock. Perfectly straight when locked and while in motion. --Vertical slots for screwing on "sacrificial" zero-clearance boards from the back. --"L" shaped for quick and easy clamping. --16" in length, 3" in height, and a beefy 3/4" in all areas. All high-grade 6061 aluminum. THE ROUTER BASE PLATE --Connect any router with a 6.5" or less base-plate diameter. (The router is affixed with steel clamps from the underside.) --Position router handles and on/off switch as desired, since router can be affixed to the Base Plate at any rotation angle. --The router is connected to the Plate by means of steel clamps which are positioned to touch 4 tangent points of the router's base. Once affixed, the router will not move. --1.5" bit opening. --Replaceable zero-clearance for the bit. (Cut ZC opening to perfect bit diameter. Inserts made of durable expanded PVC.) --Lock or slide Base Plate at any angle between zero and ninety degrees along the Tilting Arms. --Dust Collection Port can connect directly to the Router Base Plate for up-close dust collection. --Chamfered edges for smooth table-to-plate board-slide transition. --Made of a beefy 5/8" high-grade 6061 aluminum. THE TILT --Angle the Tilting Arms to any angle between zero and ninety. The Router Base Plate slides on the Arms at any angle. --Lock Arms into desired angle by easy-lock side knobs positioned below the table. --Pre-set locking positions at zero and ninety degrees. --A rough-cut angle finder is engraved into every right-side Tilting Arm. Simply read the router's tilt angle by looking at the table top's surface directly next to the Arm. THE SLIDE --The slide is accomplished by roller pins which are pressed into radial ball bearings. These bearings are then press-fit into the bottom of the Router Base Plate. The roller pins travel in precision-milled slots in the Tilting Arms. --No left-to-right slop in the travel along the Tilting Arms due to horizontal-mounted radial ball bearings which glide along the inner face of both Arms. --The slide action allows angled cuts not ordinarily possible without complicated jigs. DUST COLLECTION --Positionable dust collection port: Slide as close to the bit as desired with Sliding Rail. --DC port positionable in 15-degree increments for optimal chip deflection/dust collection. --Attach Port on either the Sliding Rail or on the Router Base Plate itself for perfect collection and position-ability. --Made to fit standard attachments for a 2.5" vacuum hose. BIT GUARD --The Bit Guard doubles as the Dust Collection Port, giving it all the position-ability of the DC Port. TRAVELS --The Distance between the center of the bit and fence's farthest-back position is 10". This can be extended by simply sliding the Router Base plate back. --The Router Base Plate can slide upon the Tilting Arms approximately 3.5". COMPONENTS The "unit" is made of 11 parts: 1. The Back Base Plate (12"x5"x.625" aluminum) 2. The Middle Base Plate (12"x5"x.625" aluminum) 3. The Router Base Plate (10"x5"x.625 aluminum) 4. Two Tilting Arms (12"x3"x.625 aluminum) 5. Two Mounted Arms (7.25"x5"x.625 aluminum) 6. Back Spacer Bar (7.875"x.5"x.5" aluminum) 7. Front Sliding Rail (10.5"x.5"x.5" aluminum) 8. Bit Guard/Dust Collection Base (4"x3"x.5" high-grade clear acrylic) 9.
