Within the framework of the project implemented by CARE and Avalyst, mobile teams are reaching hard-to-access settlements in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as temporary shelters across the country - to provide psychological support to people who have experienced loss, evacuation, and life under shelling. In total, the project aims to support over 12,000 people, including internally displaced persons and residents of frontline communities. Interestingly, some of the staff involved in this work have personally experienced displacement - like Iryna, whose story you can see in the video. Their resilience and empathy help others who are now walking a similar path. This work is vital — and it must continue. The project “Strengthening Resilience and Protection through Comprehensive Support for Vulnerable Populations in Eastern Ukraine” is implemented with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) with funds from Austrian Development Cooperation.
