The Ergon variable geometry stretcher and its specific X-lock head immobilizer (model 9150) constitute an extraordinary integrated recovery system. This designed to ensure rapid and effective stabilization of the patient's head for users. To use it at its best, just a few simple steps are enough that we wanted to illustrate with a dedicated video. We present this tutorial to support your training and that of your colleagues. It takes very little: after having extended the straps equipped with velcro you will have to position the head immobilizer with the "tip" towards your sternum. While performing this simple operation, place your thumbs on the flaps that will go under the patient's head, to whom you have already put the cervical collar on. With a single gesture you will be able to position X-lock in the correct position and you just have to fix the straps to the Ergon stretcher and gradually find the right level of tension.
