We ran this trail on 05/30/2020. The water crossing is deep in the spring so check it out first before you try and cross. There is a walking bridge that you might be able to fit a side-by-side to get across. There is also a dangerous section of shelf road that several people have died on, so use caution! We didn't make it to the lake but we got close. We didn't want to spend the rest of the day winching as no other rigs had broken through the drifts yet.
