Dear friends This is strange, each time I go to feature a food court or kopitiam in Ipoh I end up a little ruffled. I either get rejected or being told off unnecessarily. I noticed the folks in Ipoh are somewhat more aggressive than other towns. It’s almost like Hong Kong, I always get abused verbally, unlike their neighbor Macau which is quite the opposite. Don’t get me wrong, I have lots of great friends from Ipoh and Hong Kong. Maybe I rubbed them wrongly, just like this episode where I approached 2 vendors and got turned away with acute sarcasm. As always, I’m very courteous and well mannered but it doesn’t necessary win people over. Sorry for putting up with my grumble, anyway thanks for the support and see you in the next video.
