Hey Youtube! I moved to Dallas-Fort Worth area from Indianapolis, Indiana in winter 2022. I love it so much! Mostly the heat. Yes I do be at the pool when it’s 107 degrees out lol. My 2 siblings live here and lots of friends from back home. My tiny little apartment isn’t what I thought I’d have moving down, but I’m glad I stayed in my budget. I had to get adjusted to the cost of living, toll roads fee, and having fun + travel costs too. I had to do a lot measuring to make sure the decor was perfect, but it was worth hours of scrolling to decide on things. I am so happy with my apartment choice. Safe, quiet, and affordable. Also some extra info for reading this, I do have 1 carry on suitcase & a rolling cooler in my car trunk😂 no space inside! I skipped out on a Christmas tree this year too because…where will I store it after?!! Disclaimer: I havent googled cost of living since moving. I last looked over a year ago so dont flight me.
