Bethlehem: The Place of Birthing Destiny (Part 3) Your Bethlehem Moment In life, many moments seem random—passing by without meaning. But there are other moments that are not accidental. They are not coincidences. They are appointed. Luke tells us, “While they were there, the time came for her to give birth.” That phrase matters. It didn’t just happen. You didn’t stumble into it. You couldn’t miss it—and you couldn’t forget it. Destiny has timing. God works on a calendar. What God has promised has a due date. When the time comes, nothing can stop it—not inconvenience, not opposition, not pressure, not lack, not chaos, and not even Satan himself. While we are not predestined robots, there are moments God serves to us. You may not be able to stop the moment—but the fruit of the moment depends on how you handle it. Paul understood this in the middle of a violent storm. Though everything felt out of control, God had already declared the outcome. The storm wasn’t evidence Paul had missed God—it was the route God used to fulfill the promise. God does not validate His will by how it feels. He validates it by its fulfillment. Discomfort is not always disobedience. Sometimes it’s delivery. Mary didn’t plan a manger. God could have removed the pain. But often the destination God has for us travels through pressure-filled moments. Bethlehem was chaotic—crowded, disrupted, politically tense, and inconvenient. Yet God chose chaos as His birthing place. God is not intimidated by chaos. He brings peace into it. What feels chaotic may actually be strategic positioning. God will sometimes strip away predictability, control, and familiarity so that when destiny is born, He alone receives the glory. Pressure doesn’t mean punishment. Delay doesn’t mean denial. Chaos doesn’t mean failure. Jesus said that when a woman gives birth, the pain fades in the joy of what has been delivered. The pressure is proof that something is being born. If you feel squeezed, stretched, overwhelmed, exhausted, or emotionally unstable—you may not be under attack. You may be in labor. It wasn’t Mary’s timing. It wasn’t Rome’s timing. It wasn’t Herod’s timing. It was God’s timing. And when God schedules the moment— Doors open. Provision shows up. Prophecy aligns. Destiny emerges. You’re not late. You’re not behind. You didn’t miss it. This is your Bethlehem moment. The pressure isn’t punishment. The season isn’t delay. The chaos isn’t failure. It’s delivery.
