Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be talking about the Rhino Rack Roof Rack on our 2023 Ford Maverick. Now, this would be a great option if you're looking for something that's gonna look fairly nice on top of your roof, and it's just easy to work with, so let's check it out. Now, the nice thing about roof racks in general, especially for trucks, is that your bed typically isn't designed for anything that's super long. You could put something in there, but it's not gonna fit very neatly in there. As opposed to a roof rack that sits on top of your roof, that's gonna keep everything elevated. So, if you have any lumber, kayaks, anything of that nature, I think, it works really well at this location. And you could go the route of a trailer or a cargo carrier, but that's gonna expand the length of your vehicle. So, if you're going into any tight areas, this is probably gonna be the better option for you. And it also just looks super nice on top of here, and that's one of the big things that also separates a lot of roof racks. Now, there's a lot of reliable ones out there like this one we have today, but this one's actually given us a really good fit, and we can talk a little bit more about that now. So, this is gonna have a 54-inch aero crossbar. That aero just makes it more aerodynamic, helps reduce wind noise. And we're gonna have this T-channel in the center. That T-channel is an area you can mount accessories in a different way where if a clamp-on style isn't gonna work best for you. And typically, it will come with some weather stripping. I just did install mine today just for demonstration purposes, but that's nice 'cause you can modify that to work with your accessories. And if we roll down, we're gonna have the towers. And at the very front here, you notice this is gonna have a lock core already built onto it, so that's super nice. 'Cause it's gonna give us extra security, so no one can come by and take your rack. And beneath it, for me, is one of the top points for this one specifically today. And that's how our fit kit is molding to a roof. So if we look at this edge here, this is what we're looking for. We're looking for something that's gonna look seamless, and we're not gonna have any gaps. If we have any gaps, one, it's not gonna hold down to our roof edge well, but it's also gonna be potential for any wind noise to get through there. And with what we have right here, we're not gonna have that. And the way this will grab onto your roof is if I open up my door, you can see it's right here on the gutter. It will have some padding underneath it, so it doesn't scratch anything up. So, let's talk about a couple measurements. So, when it comes to the overhang, what we have today doesn't, and overhang can be a good thing or a bad thing. It just depends what you need it for. So, in our case today, if you have any items that sit more towards the inside, like a roof box, I think that's perfectly fine. But if you have like, let's say a kayak carrier, some ski carriers, typically, you want that closer to the edge and having that overhang can help. But if you don't have as much overhang, it helps it look a little bit nicer too. And now, for the next measurement I wanna talk about, that's gonna be the space underneath. So, that's gonna be a little bit over three inches. So, that's plenty room for any type of cramps to sit under here even if you have some type of sunroof. We're not gonna make contact with anything. And then for the overall height, we are gonna have about 4-1/4 inches. So, that's a little bit taller than some other options out there. So, if you're looking for something a little bit more low profile, I'd recommend checking out the Thule Roof Rack. That one also looks really nice, and it's also easy to work with as well. And this is gonna have a pretty hefty weight capacity. But what I'd recommend doing is just checking what your roof is rated for and then go from the lowest-rated component, so you don't damage anything. Now, if you guys do decide to go with this, let us know how it's working for you and either a comment or review, and what type of stuff you're putting on top of it. Now, we can talk about the installation, and like I said, there's really not a whole lot to it, and we do get all the tools that we need that come with the kit. So, let'
