While compositing effects such as overlay, screen, multiply and stencils look cool, but they do not incorporate the texture of the wall or the brick mortar into the subject. I also provided photo assets and links to other pertinent lessons that I encourage you to take. Logos by Nick’s Graffiti lesson is cool and Gimp Workshop has two, but the Neon Car lesson is great, and the Banksy lesson is very interesting. Try mixing methods and see what you get. Lastly, I will show you different ideas for using various Filters in Gimp as well as how to create a very simple Logo using a guys face, along with links on logos and other ways you can make money using Gimp and\or Inkscape – which, I recommend for logos because it it can create Logos in Vector (vs Raster).
