In this video we walk through the installation of a large residential solar and battery microgrid designed to keep a property powered even when the utility grid goes down. This system combines a large ground-mount solar array, hybrid inverters, lithium battery storage, and a backup generator to create a highly resilient power system. During normal operation the system works with the grid, but when the grid fails the home can continue operating using solar, batteries, and automatic generator backup.
