http://www.longplays.org Played by: MadMatty Dizzy II - Treasure Island Dizzy, developed by the Oliver Twins and published by Codemasters in 1989. DIZZY'S CARTOON ADVENTUREW ON TREASUTE ISLAND! Explore the mysterious Island's deserted Tree House Village, Fabulous Gold Mines, Huge Caves, Magic Shops and Secret Treasure! You can even go underwater but remember your snorkel!" The original Dizzy game was challenging but the puzzle aspect made it a fun game to go back to so it was time for a sequel which is even more challenging!! No need for lives as the game is fairly short and can be done in one sitting when you know what to do. Never mind that there are traps, fire hazards and deadly fish that will end you in a single hit or accidental jump! But that's not al. The rotating inventory remains so best make sure you have the items in the right order else you might accidently drop the one item that's protecting you from harm. And if that wasn't enough, 30 coins, mostly hidden to find to fully complete the adventure. But with all that said, its still a fun adventure and it does feel like its out to get you like the original game with it's deadly bats that get in the way or the floor vanishing. The C64 game is a bit better than the Spectrum game with some added animations. The colour clash is a non issue for dizzy but some how remains for objects so you can easily lose those if you drop them in an area of the same colour. There is also a bug where you cant reach the bucket for extra points with the shop keeper. Not game breaking, but a bug all the same. Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
