One of the frustrating aspects of using a multi-fx unit like Quad Cortex is finding a way to power it. The Wall Wart isn't the most roadworthy way to power a unit like this and if you're using it on a pedalboard with other powered pedals, you don't want to have to plug in multiple power devices to get your board up and running for a gig. Cioks has come to the rescue with Crux. This fancy little power adapter allows you to use the 24v outlet on a Cioks or Strymon supply (usually reserved for daisy chaining other modular power supplies) and plug in Crux - a high current output device designed with Quad Cortex and other multi-fx units in mind.
