hey guys, gateron khonsu is now in stock at unikeys ! *disclaimer: these switches are designed by me so I am definitely biased 😅 did a review in the last video for these guys so I will try keep this one short XD the factory lubed version is using the exact same lubing points as the gateron plus, with only lube applied to the spring, leaf, stem legs and top housing contact points. though we went just a little lighter on the spring lube. was a little too much on the plus imo. the factory lubed version is definitely usable stock, there is no leaf or spring noise, but there is some light scratch, which I find really nice. one thing I will say about the factory lubed version is the top out can be kinda plasticy sounding, the hand lubed version has a much cleaner top out sound and overall just a bit cleaner. but it depends on how much lube you apply. I would suggest going a little heavier on the front and back of the stem to prevent any stick slip if you think it will bother you. full pom housing switches can get kinda stuck without a little lube hahah. but the scratch is really nice dry ngl. compared to some of the other rbo switches in the comparison tho, khonsu is louder and higher pitched than all of the ones I tried. gat plus modded is actually the closest in volume surprisingly, but quite a bit deeper. gat plus / milky yellows modded right should still be pretty loud and clacky but they are still relatively deep. khonsu compared to some of the other gateron rbo switches or cherry that need to be modded is super tight stock so no need to film them (or mod if you get the factory lubed version), but if you get the dry version, you do still need to lube the spring or swap them out. specs- stem: pom top: pom bottom: pom mold: smoothie spring: 22mm 50g travel: 4mm vendors: unikeys (code mori for 7% off)- https://unikeyboards.com/products/gat... divinikey pantheonkeys - https://pantheonkeys.com/collections/... keebsmark prototypist - https://prototypist.net/products/in-s... build divinikey tess65 (hotswap, ss weight, force break) pp plate no foams gateron khonsu (factory lubed, hand lubed) gmk ftro timestamps 0:00 factory lubed 0:20 hand lubed 0:30 factory lubed 0:40 mods 1:06 hmx sonja 1:13 mx2a black 1:21 ink black v2 1:29 gat plus 1:36 khonsu hand lubed 1:44 khonsu factory lubed our discord server: / discord
