Travel With Me To Amsterdam and Belgium (Road Trip Europe Edition) - Travel Diary

Hey everyone, and welcome to my Europe road trip, travelling from the the UK to Belgium, specifically Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent, and the Netherlands/Holland, specifically Amsterdam. This is the first episode of my travel with me adventure, and hopefully not the last! We start our adventure at Dover port, taking a DFDS ferry to Dunkirk. The two-hour journey was filled with sea breezes and breathtaking views of the English Channel. After docking in France, we drove to Bruges, exploring its stunning architecture, picturesque canals, and delicious Belgian chocolate and waffles. Next, we visited Antwerp, staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel with a fantastic view from the 16th floor. The MAS Museum, quirky street art, and a refreshing strawberry sundae were highlights of our Antwerp exploration. Brussels was up next, where we saw the Atomium and enjoyed a delicious bowl of Pho at a Thai and Vietnamese restaurant. In Amsterdam, we discovered vibrant streets, fascinating exhibits, and charming canals. Despite missing out on Anne Frank’s house, the city's charm and a tasty doner kebab made up for it. After a restful day by the pool, we headed home with a quick stop in beautiful Ghent.
