Ingredients • 1/4 cup sojee • 1/4 cup ghee • 1/4 cup milk • 1/4 cup coconut • 1/4 cup cashew powder • ¾ cup sugar • ½ tsp. capful vanilla essence • Green or pink food colour, 2 or 3 drops. Method: Mix together all the ingredients and cook on medium fire till mixture leaves the side of the vessel. To test, put a drop of the mixture in a little water and it should firm up and form a soft ball. Cook further 5 minutes stirring coninuously Take off fire add essence and colour and mix well Grease a preferably square or rectangle small tray. Pour the mixture into the tray to set. Cut into square or diamond shapes after 15 minutes, before it sets fully as otherwise will be difficult to cut. Leave to cool until completely set and hardened. Will take few hours to harden. If after a day it has not set, you have to put it back on the fire or microwave a minute at a time.
