Clear skies and a chilly start to the day across Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Patchy rain and cloud clears to the east of Scotland but will linger through the morning across Shetland and parts of England. Clearer skies emerge across much of England through the afternoon as any rain moves into eastern areas. Showers push into western Scotland.
