For a most unusual, one of a kind experience in Japan, visit the Edo Wonderland just outside Nikko. This is a 122 acre theme park replicating an Edo Period village including a Ninja Village, Samurai Village, Crafstman Village, Artisan Village and historic Post Town. It is a very authentically recreated park with staff dressed in period costume, and you can too! Rent a kimono or yukata and stroll the streets of old Edo (Tokyo) like the shogun of the town. It’s a very well done experience and fun for the whole family. We're John and Josephine and we have more than 163 years of family history in Japan. Josephine was born and raised in Japan. Her father, grandfather and great grandfather and grandmother were all born and lived their lives in Japan; all of them being Americans.
