After visiting Tadao Ando’s Church on the Water, the spatial idea felt adaptable. This video explores that idea by benchmarking the church and transforming it into a conceptual future building. The process was simple: 1. Observe the spatial sequence of Church on the Water 2. Extract the core spatial idea 3. Adapt and transform it into a future building concept The Factory Hall ceiling cross was also inspired by Church of the Light, where light enters through the concrete cross opening. The conceptual building was then modeled in software and explored in first person, similar to moving inside a Doom-style environment.
