#beachcombing #shelling #sanibelisland Speak the words Sanibel Island, and people stop in their tracks. Known as a tropical paradise, Sanibel Island conjures up thoughts of bucket list shelling. However, if a sheller does not visit in the winter, or after a major wind event, the shells may seem nonexistent, consequently, different tactics may need to be used. Many visitors to Sanibel have success wading, checking tidal pools, and snorkeling. In this video we try our luck at diving and spend a few moments floating with the current as we search for shells. As you'll see in the video there are are some safety tips to follow and I'll also list them here: 1. Don't go swimming at sunrise or dusk. 2. Do not swim or dive deserted beaches. 3.
