I had an ordinary IKEA desk in my office on which i want to work on electronics for some future projects. To make it more convenient to work on this desk, i turned it into an electronics workstation. I just made a shelfunit with this IKEA like connection system. The shelfunit contains an power outlet and a led tube light. The switch for the light sits unter the desk top. And the cables for the power supply and the solder station going now thru the desk top. In this way I have no holes in the back of the shelfunit. I now have a lot more storage arround the workspace for all important tools and supplies.
