I finally got myself a new sewing machine 😊 My old one is a very simple beginner model. I love it and over the past years I've used it to make many big and small projects: bags, organiser for my home, clothes etc. But as I want to try more and obtain better results, I've been thinking about switching to a better sewing machine for a long time. After doing a lot of research on the internet I chose this one: Pfaff select 3.2. It's within my budget and the mechanical part is the same as the more expensive computerised models. What attracted me the most is the IDT (Integrated dual feed) system, which feeds the fabric from the top and bottom at the same time at the same stitch length, even backwards. So that nothing can slip anymore: Very thin materials, such as silk and viscose, can no longer slip. Multiple layers of fabric can be sewn together without any problems. ...
