No matter how long he kept telling himself, that he did what had to be done, no matter how many time past, one thing remains, that Cas can't forget. That it was Dean he wanted to save and the it was HIM, who killed him in the end. He killed to one and only person in the world he ever ... . Even when Sam stated, that it had to be done and that he was glad, that it was Cas who gave Dean rest, Cas couldn't shake the feelings of guilt and loss and pain. He had to save Dean. It was his mission. It always had been. "Ah, Castiel." The familiar voice behind him pulled him out of his thoughts. He never knew that he would be so lost without Dean, so alone, empty and broken. "You shouldn't have come.", Cas answered, because with Crowleys arrival his only hope to leave this road to domination had gone. "We both know how this is going to end.", Crowley replied. Yes, Cas knew how this would end, he knew that this would be his end, his doom. But it was worth it. If only Dean would live, Cas would do anything. "So we have a deal.", Crowley stated and Cas nodded. For Dean, he would go to hell and be whatever Crowley wants him to be. Be the pet, the guinea pig to reveal all secrets he ever knew... do whatever was necessary. Under one condition. One single little condition. Sam and Dean could start again from the beginning and Cas would be their guardian angel until their end. And after that, he would be the slave to the king to hell.
