Review: Rapido AutoFlood III Coal Hopper BNSF Wedge Scheme 6 Pack Double Rotary Coupler Car HO Scale

Today we'll take a look at my first unit coal train purchase, 13 total Rapido AutoFlood III coal hoppers in the BNSF "wedge" scheme! These cars have incredible details, and will be staying around for quite a while. The coal load is easily removed using the provided magnetic wand, and the interior of the cars is also highly detailed. The cars have die-cast bottoms for optimal weight, even when running empty. The double rotary car was purchased from Trains in the Valley so I could get a hands-on look at the details, and I was so happy that I decided to purchase the 2 6 packs (packs 1 & 3) from Otter Valley Railroad. These models originally arrived at dealers in 2022, but Rapido has a new run currently accepting preorders until April 15th that I also plan to buy!
