The new single “Witches”, as its title says, is a tribute to Dario Argento’s “Suspiria”, and it was conceived, developed, and recorded with Il Becchino (TENEBRO). “Witches” themes are partially linked to the lyrics of our debut album: “Infected Seed”. Poisoning took center stage. Especially the theme of poisoning by ergot, typical of the late medieval period, a time when witch hunts were taking place. The main theme of “Witches” refers to witch hunts due to the poisoning and hallucinations caused by ergot, with a consequent and obvious reference to Dario Argento's masterpiece. The Italian Giallo death metal band Tenebro’s presence is central for this single thanks to Il Becchino featured vocals. With this year's mixtape, you can expect 12 tracks spanning the dark dimensions of the death metal realm. Dripping with chainsaw riffs, blast beats that sound like skeletons tap-dancing on coffins, and vocals so guttural you’d swear they were recorded in a haunted catacomb, this volume is a blood-splattered shrine to death metal’s most fiendish side.
