How to check breakaway torque on Platinum Track Differential

Randy Larsen, the owner of DPI Racing Products in Petaluma, California shows how to check the breakaway torque of a Platinum Track Differential. We measure the breakaway torque at 18" from the centerline of the differential. At the end of the video there we will have instructions on making the tools for the check. One tool is for bench checking and the other tool is for checking with the differential still in the car. You do not have to remove the differential from the rear end to check the breakaway torque.
