Performing at the Norris Creek Entertainment Complex in Louisburg, North Carolina on Saturday August 16, 2014. Doc Holliday is a southern rock band from Macon, Georgia; named after the western legend Doc Holliday. Doc Holliday never received the recognition they deserved in Unites States. However, they were hugely successful in Europe. From the early days the 70s, this southern rock hidden gem can be traced to beginning from a band called Roundhouse, which would later transform into Doc Holliday. As southern rock was losing its momentum in early 80s, with little help from Molly Hatchet management, Doc Holliday was signed by A&M records. Their eponymous debut album entered the Top 30 of the Billboard 200 in 1981. Their second album, Doc Holliday "Rides Again" topped that success. Due to the failure of their third, experimental album, "Modern Medicine" in 1983 and the stress of touring, the band broke up in 1983. Doc Holliday re-united in the 1990s. They brought out more albums and toured, mainly in Europe. In June 2011 they headed out on a combined 30th Anniversary and Farewell Tour in Europe and disbanded again. In 2014, Eddie Stone has resurrected Doc Holliday again with this new line-up... Eddie Stone - keyboards, guitar, vocals Rob Walker - guitar, vocals Mike Gilbert - guitar, vocals Daniel Bud Ford - bass, vocals Leroy Wilson - drums
