The first of its kind, Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) is building the first driverless, all electric, light rail transit in the United States. The Honolulu Rail Transit Project (HRTP) will construct an 18.9-mile passenger rail system connecting East Kapolei in West Oahu to Civic Center in Honolulu’s dense urban core with 19 state-of-the art stations and a combination of at-grade and elevated guideway.
