I spent weeks of reading through the reviews prior to purchasing so, I cannot lie, I was apprehensive. It took me 2 months to pull the trigger on ordering a Mattress from anywhere without laying on it first. For those of you who gave this glorious, sent from heaven, angelic, cloud-like goodness of a mattress less than 5 stars, CLEARLY nothing makes you happy. Kidding, I don't need hate mail. OK, lets start from the TOP Ordering- Again this took me reading hundreds of reviews, watching Youtube reviews and finally a half a bottle of wine to complete. Waiting- Being a Prime member has it's perks. I ordered this on a Thursday night (after said wine) and it was delivered Monday. Delivery- Let's just say, my FedEx guy probably hates me. This box was not light and since I am a woman with absolutely no upper body strength, I was in the way, more than I was help for this guy. Arrived, and the box was a mess. I wouldn't lie. It had a huge hole on the side, the mattress was fully exposed, however, my gift from the heavens was safe in it's Plastic wrap. I was not too concerned. Set up- After I put my new bed together (more than one time, hahaha), I was ready.... This is where things get interesting..... The box weighs more than I do, I looked at this for about 30 minutes and enjoyed more wine. Finally, I thought, I can do this. I was praying my neighbors could not see or hear me from my room because I am sure they would have thought I was being attacked or needed life alert! I call in my 2 boys, (they are 7 and 9 what was I thinking) well (like I was with the FedEx man) they were only under my feet and not helping in the slightest. So, I kicked them out of the room. Probably a good 30 minutes later and the completion of the wine, the mattress was on. Lucid provided me with an letter opener to get the plastic wrap off. This is where you need to be super fast yet careful, as holding a newborn baby. You need to slice that off and pull the plastic wrap off before that thing inflates. I was in a panic. I managed to get all of the plastic wrap off and thought, I really wish I could just lay on that thing.... Waiting- Lucid states on the package... "Could take up to 48 hours for mattress to come to accurate size!" I completed dinner and walked back and forth with a tape measure to check. Mine only took about 3 hours to be a full 14inches. Sleeping- OHHHHH MYYYYYY WORD!!!!! The struggle to purchase and all of the things that come after and right before you finally sleep on this mattress is worth the wait. I have literally become one with the mattress, It has taken me as it's own. There is nothing better than this Mattress. I know I need my job but let me tell you, getting out of bed is devastating every single time. I have a lot of back and leg issues due to a medical condition and I have not had a Great nights rest in YEARS. The first night, I slept so well. I didn't want that to be my review because of all the work I did the night before I didn't want people thinking because I exerted all my energy and my body was tired. I have slept so well and woken in the morning with NO pain. It is the Perfect combination of Plush and support. Every single night I have slept great. I don't feel my husband getting in and out and tossing and turning all night. I don't even realize when he gets in and out of this bed. There is one issue, if you are a man, sleeping on your stomach will be great. Woman, let me tell you, if you are a stomach sleeper, it takes the mattress a few minutes to conform to your "girls"! Side and back sleepers will love this mattress. I only wish that I had an office chair that was like my mattress. All joking aside Lucid really needs to think about this. I have tons of neck and back pain at work being on a computer all day and NOT one chair has helped. I would drag that mattress around with me everywhere if I could and only WISH I had a chair that was as heavenly as my mattress. Cons- As listed, it is Heavy, so be smarter than me and get someone to help you. Don't try being Superwoman (like me). Second con, (is really not much of a con) you will not want to leave your bed. Last Con- Lucid doesn't have a chair for me or a cover for my chair. LOL
