Whats going on peeps?!! I'm so excited to share with you guys my new (or not so new haha) purchase, the Yamaha QY300 music sequencer. I tried to to a video today where i did a run down of the device but the editing software I use (shotcut) has been crashing on me relentlessly for what I am trying to do. It may be time to change video editing softwares. I created some phrases and then used the pattern mode to patch some phrases together (created both by me and the user presets) to create the song/beat/whatever you call it. In this one i'm just using the general midi sounds but I am trying to see if i could midi dump the files onto ableton and then replace the sounds with other virtual instruments/ sound modules in the future. So far i love the workflow, and the user interface is awesome for a sequencer that came out in 94-95. Still I have a lot to learn but I am excited for what is to come! Hope you enjoyed!
