How to Make an Outlander Skirt by Hand

Did I mention I'm hand-sewing all of these pieces? Although I'm still figuring out how things were made, and will no doubt learn new things along the way that will alter my methods of construction, I'm putting what I do know to use in my first 18th century Highlander skirts. I welcome any tips! I could also use some tips on where I can purchase 100% wool fabric (and maybe some Stewart tartans...? I have Stewarts in my ancestry) within Europe. I bought all my current supply of wool from https://www.fabworks.co.uk but post-Brexit, I'll get taxed a hefty amount to import them here now. Isn't it silly... But I still want a softer, thinner wool to use as an earasaid. Anyway I hope you enjoy! Almost done with these making-of videos!
